This statement is published by BV Gaming Limited, BV Gibraltar Limited and BV Canada Limited and all Group companies (hereafter BVGroup) in accordance with section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 (“MSA”).
It continues to be a priority for BVGroup to ensure that we trade ethically, source responsibly and work to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking throughout our organisation and in our supply chain.
About BVGroup
BVGroup is an online gambling company headquartered and incorporated in Gibraltar.
Online gambling is a highly regulated industry and BVGroup puts legal and regulatory compliance at the heart of its business. BVGroup has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery or human trafficking. To achieve these standards and to maintain its position in the industry, BVGroup requires compliance from all its employees, business partners and members of its supply chain with all applicable laws and regulations.
BVGroup has offices in Gibraltar, Hungary and the UK and it holds operating licences issued by the competent authorities of Gibraltar, Great Britain, Ireland and Ontario, Canada. It provides its services to the residents of 42 countries. BVGroup’s British licensed online gambling business operates from Gibraltar and its United Kingdom based entities are non-gambling operating companies, all of which either provide services to the rest of BVGroup’s companies or are holding companies of the group.
BVGroup’s business is highly technical, providing entertainment services rather than tangible products. Its supply chain is therefore predominantly highly skilled and technical in nature, mainly within the information technology, sports data, professional services, and marketing sectors.
BVGroup’s approach to sustainable procurement promotes working with industry leading, reputable, socially responsible, and ethical third parties. BVGroup includes contractual provisions to ensure that these third parties are compliant with all applicable laws.
BVGroup’s supplier-selection and due diligence processes rely on industry-leading reports, which notify the company of the organisations and individuals which either have committed, or are under investigation for, human rights violations and other humanitarian crimes, such as, but not limited to:
- People and/or organ trafficking
- Modern slavery
- Abuse
- Promotion of, and involvement in, illegal prostitution
- Genocide and war crimes
Wherever possible, BV Group further minimises its supply chain risk by keeping much of its business in-house, allowing it to closely monitor the working conditions throughout its business.
Training and Awareness
BVGroup ensures ethical practices and a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking by;
- requiring its staff to complete comprehensive inductions and ongoing training programmes
- providing its staff with easy access to a wide range of guidance, policies, and procedures.
Taken together, these measures limit the risk of BVGroup’s supply chain and business being affected by modern slavery and human trafficking.
Directors’ Endorsement
This statement has been reviewed and approved by the directors of BVGroup and will be reviewed yearly.
